Stephen Horne, aged 83 years, died suddenly Wednesday evening at his home in Jefferson Township. His death was due to heart failure and caused much surprise, as he had been enjoying his usual health. He is survived by his wife, seven daughters and two sons. The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with interment in Zahniser cemetery.

     His estate was probated on 13 February 1904 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania .18
