Thomas Horne

M, b. circa 1655, d. 27 February 1718
Research Note: Was a witness to a Quaker marriage in 1673.
His signature on a deed referring to a property in Arundel dated 1705 was in the possession of Percival Lucas.
Earthenware plates with the initials TSH existed when Sidney Neale Horne and Percival Lucas compiled the pedigree.
Ancestors were Flemish weavers.
One branch of family (son Edward) emigrated to America and intermarried with Sharpless. Sharpless have a family quilt.
Link to Cape Horn; Should have been spelt Horne as named after a Horne. Thomas Horne was of the Quaker religion. He was born circa 1655 in England.1 Thomas married Sussanna Green on 20 April 1679 in Arundel, Sussex, England.2 Thomas was a Glover. He left a will dated on 21 July 1713. He died on 27 April 1718 in Sussex, England. Conflicting evidence also suggests Thomas Horne died on 27 February 1718 in Arundel, Sussex, England. The discrepancy in dates may be due to the Quaker dates beginning on the 1st of March (prior to 1752) and therefore showing 27 April 1718 as 27 2 Mo 1718.
His estate was probated on 12 June 1729 in Chichester, Sussex, England.
