He was born in Beverly, son of James W. and Katherine (Hillyard) Page. For many years he owned and operated the former Richard's Package Store on Rantoul Street in Beverly.

Mr. Page was one of the first scuba divers in the area.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, William A. and his wife Anne Marie Page of Ipswich; a daughter, Patti-Ann Asaro of Gloucester; and three grandchildren, Eileen G. Page, Jennifer D. Page and Olivia A. Asaro.

His funeral service was held September 27 from the First Baptist Church, Beverly. Arrangements were by Lee, Moody & Russell Funeral Home of Beverly.
