Between 30 January and 4 February 1666/7 depositions were taken in Stamford regard the events surrounding the death of the wife of Samuel Dibble, and daughter of William Graves.

The depositions were apparently taken because of the suspicion of witchcraft in causing the death of Abigail (Graves) Dibble. The accused appears to be Abigail's father, William Graves, and Samuel Dibble appears to have brought the complaint.1
